What is Equipoise?
We are a student run group, aiming to promote and help attain equality within the film industry. We are based around Leeds and York, but are part of the wider movement to attain balance within an industry we are passionate about both locally, nationwide and further.
We are currently working towards our first festival centred around the cause, Females Working in Film Festival (FWiFF). Please look below for details.

Fuel the debate and awareness of the innequalities that women face within film
Coming Summer 2016, we are undetaking our biggest task yet. A series of events, culminating in a one day film festival. All of which is to promote and act towards equality of gender within the film industry
This is our first time taking on a task like this, and while there's information out there to help us, we thought we would try and go one step better. So with every step we take, we're going to keep you in the loop. There's no secrets here, the lessons we learn and insight we gain is going to be shared here within our blog.
This will work as a companion piece to the documentary coming late 2016, which will chronicle our process and efforts!
